I asked a friend what the song was. He told me it was Blue Wind by Jeff Beck. When I got home I bought the Blow By Blow album and from that point on I was a jazz man. This band did that great song justice, and with their very own take on it. Well done.

A great rendition of a classic Jeff Beck tune with the additional treat of a Senri drum solo! Rie never disappoints and Senri is in beast mode! (That’s killin it for the unwashed.) 🫶🏻👏🏻🙌🏻👍🏼👍🏼
There seems to be a lot of cross pollinating of these girl groups and they are all excellent. If it's not Juno on bass, it's Rina and occasionally both of them. Rie and Kanade are in loads of groups. The Japanese musicians are certainly playing the kind of music that I want to hear, not forgetting of course my favourite jazz pianist Riyoko Takagi. They all seem to be world class. Oh, great drum solo from Senri, it's back to the sixties. Love Bites are another fantastic female group. Good luck to them all.

Kanade is in MUSUS, and Chisato is in TJA and is band mate with bassist Juna Serita. So this time, Rina Hoshino and Juna Serita are Tokyo groove joshi and have a twin base. I'd like to see twin drums and twin bass with these four.
That Kawaguchi's solo was excellent. Great groove throughout, and almost all with a single bass drum, great rolls and ghosts on snare... and the drum sounds, especially the toms, were top notch. Very Nice! And you were correct - Jan Hammer composed Blue Wind, and played keyboards & drums on it.
